He shared some of the history of drawback, that companies depend on drawback to be accrued toward their bottom line, and that more American jobs are connected to drawback as exports increase from the U.S. With the possibility of a NAFTA renegotiation, the staff members heard about how American companies will benefit from additional drawback with a change to specific NAFTA provisions. As the drawback dialogue advances, Dave will be active with House Ways and Means and Senate Finance staff to ensure that American companies have expanded opportunities to compete globally through this export promotion program.
